Location: Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland

The Digital Poster 2.0 initiative modernizes communication across cultural institutions in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Within three months, a regional digital signage network was deployed across 70 locations, including theatres, museums, libraries, and administrative buildings. The project replaces traditional printed posters and notice boards with digital displays, enabling institutions to present event information, schedules, maps, and visitor guidance in a clear and consistent format.

Project Highlights

  • Deployment of digital displays across a network of cultural institutions
  • Interactive touch screens improving access to visitor information
  • Centralized content management enabling remote updates across locations
  • Clear and dynamic presentation of events and cultural programs

FORTES interactive Contribution

FORTES interactive, a European manufacturer specializing in professional touch technologies, played a key technological role in the project.

The company supplied 60 outdoor interactive kiosks, built around its proprietary FORTOUCH O outdoor touch technology, specifically designed for reliable operation in demanding public environments.

FORTOUCH O combines optically bonded protective glass, high-brightness display integration, and advanced capacitive touch sensing, enabling precise and responsive interaction even in direct sunlight, rain, or when used through protective glass.

For this project, FORTES integrated Samsung OH Series high-brightness outdoor displays with its FORTOUCH O touch overlay technology, creating the Samsung OH-Touch solution a robust, fully integrated outdoor touchscreen display.

This solution provides:

  • 24/7 reliable outdoor operation
  • sunlight-readable high brightness
  • vandal-resistant protective glass
  • seamless flat front design
  • precise multi-touch interaction

Unlike standard touch overlays, the Samsung OH-Touch solution is professionally integrated directly into the original Samsung display housing, ensuring proper sealing, durability, and long-term stability required for public outdoor installations.

The displays are delivered fully assembled and ready to deploy, significantly simplifying installation and reducing project deployment time.

A Model for Regional Digital Communication

The Digital Poster 2.0 project demonstrates how a regional network of cultural institutions can implement a modern digital communication infrastructure within a very short timeframe, while creating a scalable platform for future services such as wayfinding, smart city integration, and interactive visitor engagement.

Thanks to the collaboration between the regional authorities, technology partners, and FORTES interactive’s outdoor touch expertise, the project delivers a robust and future-ready digital platform that enhances the visibility and accessibility of cultural programs across the entire region.
